Top contributors: 12th – 18th October

This week it’s been great to see some new faces getting involved straight away and adding loads of great content – turntothesky, BrunoMac and KCity65 – thanks for getting stuck in! There’s much to explore, from first gig memories to a mighty impressive collection of ticket stubs, here’s this week’s top contributors and a pick of some of the cool stuff they’ve been adding:
Setlists
1) iheartmusic - 16
2) Gumgum2804 – 9
3) dhutchis – 6
More awesome setlists come courtesy of iheartmusic again this week, including Anthony and the Johnsons and one from a secret Editors gig which was part of the launch of this years Oxjam music festival.
Gumgum2804 added an early Bloc Party setlist, as well as something from Futureheads and Elbow.
Reviews
1) Gumgum2804 – 9
2) BrunoMac – 9
3) KillTheRobotz – 6
Gumgum2804 has continued to add a bunch of really readable reviews, covering performances from Foals, Mark Ronson and Eagles of Death Metal.
BrunoMac shares some of his experiences of seeing The Cure…
“So good that I didn’t mind getting a nosebleed in the middle. If you’re going to have gore dripping down your mouth then it might as well be at a Cure gig and, since they played for over three hours, it didn’t matter that I spent 20 mins with my head tilted back (possibly freaking out the folks behind us).”
…and KillTheRobotz shares a great review of Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson explaining how the “controversial” performance went down:
“Norman Oklahoma is not the place you’d expect to see Marilyn Manson and NIN – the bible belt is very conservative and restrictive to the point of being oppressive [...] this generated so much interest it prompted throngs of ticketless religious people to show up in the parking lot just to see the spectacle, some held picket signs! Never seen that before.”
Photos
1) ghbradshaw – 196
2) turntothesky – 139
3) KCity65 – 99
ghbradshaw continues to lead the way on the photo front, this week sharing shots of Fields, Zutons, and Radiohead.
There’s ticket stubs galore from turntothesky, including the likes of Blur, Ultravox and Echo and the Bunnymen:
And KCity65 has some really great concert photography featuring bands such as Muse, Weezer and White Rabbits:

Posters
1) shivadescending – 83
2) warrenwheel – 27
3) iheartmusic – 16
On the poster front, shivadescending is still contributing a ton of interesting old posters, such as this 1980s Q-Tip one:

and warrenwheel has added some cool posters from the states:

Videos
1) Mash1982 – 101
2) funky – 41
3) iheartmusic – 33
Amongst the pick of the videos we have British Sea Power from Mash1982, Patti Smith from funky and The Dodos from video queen iheartmusic (who just reached 1000 videos!).
All in all, another great week of content – keep it coming!
