Post-concert reviews:

Deftones, Best Buy Theater, New York, 14 May 2011

“Heaviest concert I’ve been to by far! Finally saw one of my favorite bands after following them for so many years. Deftones didn’t disappoint! The music was loud as it should be for them and the energy never let up. The crowd was body surfing and getting tossed into the arms of security. Of course Chino didn’t help by leaping off stage into the crowd himself and singing with the fans! Awesome show!”

Sam Beeton, Regal Rooms, London, 12 May 2011

It was wonderful to be at a gig with an audience who truly appreciate music and talent – the whole room was silent as Sam sang his set. The lyrics to his songs are great and heartfelt, and he has a gorgeous voice. Along with his talent also comes charm and charisma – while his songs are slow and soothing Sam has a great sense of humour and really connected with the audience – especially the beloved Canadians! Really loved the performance and would also love to see Sam again. Talented and a genuinely lovely guy who likes to spend time with his fans.

The Rainmakers, Knuckleheads, Kansas City, 15 May 2011

I’ve forgotten how many times I’ve seen this band. I remember seeing them as Steve Bob and Rich circa 1985 at the Spirit Fest in KC. This show was something else. I got here late and missed the first 5 songs. I’m still kicking myself.

Sara Bareilles, Esplanade Concert Hall, Singapore, 11 May 2011

There was a deep, real connection between Sara and her audience. She’s the real deal. No faking. And her quirkiness cracked us up! She saved Gravity, the best for last. C:
