Librarians Wanted are so happy to present three absolutely fantastic bands on Sunday 2 October. No need for hot chocolate and an evening in to sulk about a lost summer and romances gone, run through the pile of yellow leaves in Hoxton Square and get yourself to the Underbelly for an evening of heart-warming indiepop!
Standard Fare
Standard Fare had a great 2010 that saw the release of debut album 'The Noyelle Beat' festival appearances at Latitude, Indietracks, In the City and SWN and two US tours, including playing at SXSW.
"A riot of hormones, cut-to-the-chase lyrics, bolshie girl-boy vocals and jingle-jangle propusion...The best and most loveable aspects of indie guitar music." The Sunday Times
"Standard Fare provide a nice throwback to the days when jangly guitars and half-bored female vocalists were all the rage. Clever indie pop for those who likes things just a little on the harder side of twee."

Let's Whisper
Hailing from the US, Let's Whisper is made up of Vermont's own Dana Kaplan and Colin Clary, both veteran members of indie pop band the Smittens, the Burlington, VT-based duo have been working together for quite a while.
"Colin and Dana layer numerous beats and melodies, creating an album that feels like a sweater you want to snuggle deep inside of."
