Separated by a generation and the Atlantic Ocean, Kevin Dempsey from Coventry in the heart of England, and Rosie Carson from Cincinnati, USA, may seem to some, an unusual pairing. But really it’s no coincidence at all. Rosie's dad, Steve Carson and Kevin have been friends since the early eighties, having met in England during the formation of folk super-group 'Whippersnapper'. Now Rosie and Kevin are building on the success of past US & European tours and two successful album releases in 2010 and 2011. They are playing over 25 events & festivals throughout the UK in Spring and Summer 2012.
Their recent album, ‘Between The Distance’ released, August 2011, has received excellent press reviews & plays on national radio.
