Tour name: Deep Shit @ Plastic People

Deep Shit is a new party brought to you by Jack Savidge of Friendly Fires and Edwin Congreave of Foals. Having ruined the hopes and dreams of thousands of young indie music fans by rocking up to their DJ gigs with a nothing but techno, they’ve now decided to establish a clear home for themselves here in London - a place for deep, intense party music.

Orlando Higginbottom AKA’s as Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, a one man electro-house show-off who needs little introduction. Gleefully disinterested in genre, and straddling the line between bona fide pop sensation and underground radicalism, he’s currently selling out venues across the UK.

Famous in his youth for his rowdy and uncompromising jungle dj sets, but more recently for wide-ranging, fluid house selections, he always showcases an exciting and indiscriminating love of dance music - and this should be no different.

Fresh off a European tour, Jack Savidge has mixed the Friendly Fires Bugged Out compilation CD, a Radio 1 Essential mix, a popular Resident Advisor podcast, and recently DJed with Carl Craig on the Friendly Fires Boiler Room takeover.

Edwin has a mix cd for K7 forthcoming this Spring, and has given away a series of much talked about mixes on his soundcloud.

They co-host a monthly show on NTS with musical renaissance man and Deep Shit resident Adam Parylak, who will be warming up the evening with his typically unorthodox selections.
