Death Vignettes

As an old-fashioned blues rock guitar/drums duo, Death Vignettes know where the volume control is and are unafraid to crank it up to 11. They are angry and passionate in sentiment; filthily reverberating and unremittingly raucous in delivery.

Family Wolves
http://familywolves.bandcamp.com/track/im-your-man-demo
Born out of Rusholme’s band factory Antwerp Mansion, the recently formed sextet Family Wolves fuses blues, folk and psychedelic influences into a hearty melodious broth, paying homage to everyone from soulful raconteurs to classic blues balladeers.

The Acoustic Conquistador
http://www.facebook.com/theacousticconquistador
The Acoustic Conquistador is a musical project by Arlen Connelly. Originally a solo/classical/folky/flamencoish guitarist, he has now teamed up with ace multi percussionist Holly Prest to put together a musical experience of blistering intensity and intelligent complexity. Time signatures pop from one to another, roaring rhythms stealthily cascade from anxious panic to serene calm in the blink of an eye. A truly original musical experience.

Dan Melrose
http://danmelrose.co.uk/
Dan Melrose may have been described as a bearded folk monster, but has the subtle dexterity of a classical guitarist. Using his acoustic instrument for both strings and percussion, he performs an engaging solo show and is often seen collaborating with other local musicians having previously played with bands such as The Urban Folk Collective.
