WE ARE ROCKSTARS (W.A.R!) is the new electronic fuelled, DJ led night that will see an incredible mix of the most influential and exciting names in electronic music take over the famous outdoor ‘Rocks’ stage
One third of electronic supergroup Magnetic Man (who will also hit W.A.R! this summer) DJ extraordinaire Skream has a track record for producing massive remixes, recently putting the finishing touches to tracks for the likes of Miles Kane and Kelis as well as starting his brand new friday night show on Radio 1 taking you into the weekend. Flanked by legendary MC Sgt. Pokes we cant wait to see what bass fuelled madness they brings to We Are Rockstars in June.
Joining Skream and Sgt. Pokes for this night of mayhem at the Rocks we have one of the UK's foremost underground tastemakers Mistajam. Preaching the gospel of Dubstep and Bass music to the masses every night on Radio 1Xtra Jam is no stranger to the Rocks having last year taken over Mallorca as part of the 1Xtra Weekend.
This June we're bringing him over to rock the White Isle so expect a mix of Dubstep, Grime, Hip Hop, D&B, Dancehall and everything in between.
If that wasn't enough opening the show we have without question, one of the original pioneers of the Jungle and Drum & Bass scenes Shy FX. Shy's career has spanned almost twenty years working with the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Plan B, Kano, Yasmin and T-Power so expect only the finest tunes when he takes to the stage
With the awesome UNION DJ's also on board to open this stacked W.A.R! line up this is one night you won't want to miss out on.
