"Innocent" uses a live band, scripted monologues,
improvisation and film to tell the tale of two cities, two lovers & two break ups.
Set against the chaotic backdrop of one mans relentless dependence
on excess and his desperate pursuit of redemption, the show leads us
through pain and confusion to a road of recovery.
Bennett's music & lyrics weave a compulsive
and emotional score for Griffins incisive narrative.
Uncompromising and at times uncomfortable,
'An Innocent Evening Of Drinking' charts a journey of love bitterly lost
and of a peace sometimes irresponsibly found.
