Tony Award Nominee Colman Domingo (Scottsboro Boys, Passing Strange) curates this soon to be legendary event. BLACK.

Bringing together the rock solid talent of his friends, Tony Award Nominee Daniel Breaker (Passing Strange), Tony Award Nominee Brandon Victor Dixon (Color Purple), The superstar talents of Titus Burgess (Guys and Dolls), Chester Gregory (Sister Act), Christian Dante White (The Scottsboro Boys) , Julius Thomas III (Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess), and Curtis Wiley (Nat’l Tour of The Lion King) with musical direction from Jon Spurney (Passing Strange).

BLACK. is a celebration of BLACK. Colman Domingo curates an event starring African American men, whether its through song or in some words of humor or maybe some words of inspiration or more importantly some words that will illuminate BLACK. It is a rare event when there is this caliber of black male talent on one stage. This is the simple reason behind BLACK. This is sure to be the first of many curations by this tour de force creator of the Lucille Lortel, GLAAD Award winning play “A Boy and His Soul” that sold out it’s one night only event at Joe’s Pub in February 2009. He’s back and BLACK! And he's brought some friends along.
