The Department of Visual Arts and the Department of Music at the University of Dayton is pleased to present an artist talk and performance by Tristan Shone of Author & Punisher. The event takes place Thursday, September 20th. The artist talk and performance will take place from 7-9pm in the Visual Arts' Sculpture Garden, next to CPC across from the Tennis Courts.
Shone will share his career experiences and offer students a glimpse of his effective hybrid of research, object-making, composition and performance. He holds an MFA in Visual Design from UC San Diego (2008) and a BA in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute In Troy, NY (2000). Author & Punisher will be featured at Boomslang 2012 at The University of Kentucky in Lexington on Sept. 22nd.
