Tour name: Pop-up Foodie Music Fest with The Kennedys, Joey Molland and Phil Solem at the Dakota, Minneapolis, MN
LAST NIGHT OF A THREE-NIGHT STAND: Foodie Night Pop-Up Music Fest at the Dakota in Minneapolis with the Kennedys and VERRRRY special guests, Joey Molland (Badfinger!!!) and Phil Solem (The Rembrandts!!!), both from the acoustic power duo, The Drift Benders!! This is going to be a totally awesome night (as evidenced by last night...it was so groovy, we were all asked back to do it again!) Watch Maura totally dissolve whilst singing harmonies on "Day After Day" with Joey and Phil...there's really nothing quite like it! Oh, and Pete actually had a bad finger for this show...tetanus shot and all! How appropriate is that? Plus, his playing suffered not one bit!
7pm. No cover, special $30 3-course foodie night menu available. $10 select bottles of wine.
Come to the no-cover Pop-up Foodie Festival tonight where members of Nanci Griffith's band (The Kennedys) will play a set of all your requested Nanci Griffith songs, as well as some of their own original material, then Joey and Phil will play a set, then we'll all play some stuff together!
This is the last night of a three-night stand. It's been getting better and better with every night...we're going to be sad to see it end. Don't let us be sad! Come on out and celebrate a great, unique night of music before we jet back to Manhattan!
