WXPN welcomes Grammy Award-winning musicians Joan Baez and Indigo Girls as they team up on tour for a fantastic evening of music at the Mann on June 20th.
Joan Baez’s seasoned career has produced decades of original songwriting and beautiful renditions from musical icons like Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, and many more. 2008 saw her newest release, Day After Tomorrow a reflection which in her own words, "speaks to the essence of who I am in the same way as the songs that have been the enduring backbone of my repertoire for the past 50 years."
Indigo Girls unleashed their 14th studio album titled Beauty Queen Sister in 2011. The folk rock duo delivers a beautifully crafted batch of 13 songs that revel in spirited simplicity.
