"For live performances, you absolutely have to see Carleen Anderson - at least 3 times in your life!" _ Amy Winehouse.
Hearing Carleen Andersons totally unique, expressive voice with its huge range and searing intensity has been described as an almost religious experience.
Texas born, she was reared on Gospel (in her Pastor grandfathers choir) then received Soul music training from other family members: James Brown (godfather), Bobby Byrd (step-father) and Vicki Anderson (mother). Her credits continue this impressive Whos Who: Johnny Cash, Paul McCartney, Jocelyn Brown, Paul Weller, Sir John Dankworth, Chrissie Hynde, Dr. John, Courtney Pine and her huge hit Apparently Nothing with the Young Disciples. Winner of this years Jazz FM UK Vocalist of the Year, Carleen debuts at the Pizza Express Jazz Club with an all star British band and brings ReVoice! 2013 to an unmissable close.
