Having spent two years touring relentlessly with the likes of Jack White and Wild Flag, Peggy Sue finally managed to stay in one place for long enough to write and record new album 'Choir of Echoes' last winter. Their third full-length will be released in January through Wichita Recordings in the UK and Yep Roc in North America. Recorded at Rockfield Studios in Monmouth, Wales with producer Jimmy Robertson (who produced the band's 'Peggy Sue Play the Songs of Scorpio Rising' self-released covers album) the band's new LP is every bit as unique and arresting as we've come to expect from the London-based three-piece. Influences ranging from grunge and post-folk to doo wop and surf are weaved roughly together with inexplicably beautiful results.
