Alt country band Yarn kicks off this Americana double-bill. They owe as much to Gram Parsons and Earl Scruggs as to Jerry Garcia and Exile On Main Street-era Rolling Stones as they weave country, rock and blues into a genre-defying blend. This Grammy nominated jam roots act has been well received at SXSW and was also featured on CNN’s "Out Front."
With music that's breakneck, brazen and beautiful, The Black Lillies combine gentle Laurel Canyon folk, honky-tonk heartache of classic country with winding jams and flat out rock ’n’ roll. They charted on the Billboard Top 200, put three tracks in CMT's top 12, played SXSW, Bonnaroo and MerleFest plus they’ve been invited to perform at the legendary Grand Ole Opry almost 25 times – a record for an independent act. Fronted by Cruz Contreras, The Black Lillies third album “Runaway Freeway Blues” crafts a beautiful ode to restless spirits and rambling hearts. Cruz also co-founded Robinella And The CCstringband whose hit was “Man Over."
