Our last one at the Old Blue Last and our first at our new monthly slot at The Social (starting . As usual, they will be FREE entry: a mix of bands and DJs, all sorts of genres with free CDs, free shots, free stuff and free thinking.
The first one features the debut UK show by SIC’s new signing THE REST whose Bunnymen-esque, Arcade Fiery Big Music is winning them a lot of friends along side the very-big-in-France-you-know and very goddam beautiful piano’n’beats, epic melancholia of SEBASTIEN SCHULLER that calls to mind Thom Yorke, Boards of Canada and Nick Drake. He's supported the likes of Animal Collective, Bloc Party, Beirut, of Montreal and more in Paris. Rounding off this fine line up is the sublime angelic folk music of NME tipped, Neon Neon singer, CATE LE BON, who has just been signed to Gruff Rhys' (Super Furry Animals) label 'Irony Bored Records'.
