Primal Scream play "Screamadelica"
Primal Scream are to play their album Screamadelica album live in sequence for the first time ever. Bobby Gillespie and co. will perform it in its entirety on November 27 at London's Olympia.
With memorable artwork created by Creation Record's in-house designer Paul Cannell (recently honoured by Royal Mail on a stamp), Screamadelica's music is iconic as its cover, marking the bands transition from a straight-up indie guitar group to fully fledged gospel tinged acid house outfit and the 1991 release is seen by many as the band's career peak. A brass section and gospel choir will join them live to fully recreate the on-record sound.
