The Line Of Best Fit and London label Something In Construction are back for yet another (by now, legendary) ILL FIT. Oh yes.

A BRAND NEW 4-piece band, hailing from Bristol boasting a Canadian singer; FITNESS CLUB FIASCO are the newest signing to Something In Construction. Every one of their songs betrays a ferocious love of pop music and its twin sister, dancing.

Allow your mind to imagine the song you’d hear pounding out at midnight from a joint LCD Soundsystem / Pet Shop Boys New Years Eve party as you stand in the queue outside; their debut single ‘Forest City’ is that tune.

A glistening and energetic debut single, with classic pop songwriting and just a touch of insane Xenomania-eque production. It’s already gaining fantastic support from the likes of Rob DaBank, Huw Stephens and is all over XFM and 6 Music.

Recent club dates with Memory Tapes have got feet moving and their mailing list swelling. Currently in great demand for remixes expect to hear their takes on Phoenix, The Silent League and Delorean in the not too distant future.

Support comes from delicate electronic musings of SEAMS aka bedroom musician James Welch. Already causing quite a stir on the internets, his brand new 12″ “Nightcycles” will be released on 26th April via Tough Love Records. One to watch.

The bickering ILL FIT DJs will be supplying the tunes between acts plus free swag, free entry and good old fashioned good times.
