Had great seats just to the right of the stage, this meant i was behind the amps and couldnt really get the best sound from where i was, but other than that thought the new songs sounded mega, I really liked Thick As Theives. Top gig!

This was always going to be a special gig seeing the Kasabian lads brandishing new material at the Royal Albert Hall for the Teenage Cancer Trust, but I didn't realise quite how epic the night would be. I've seen the band 3 times before (twice at Glastonbury and once at Hammersmith Apollo) and they've never failed to blow the roof off, but this time they went intergalactic!
Previewing both new and classic material from their previous two albums the storming set never looked back, only taking time to breathe with the kinksy, psychedelic, acoustic newcommer 'Thick As Thieves. Highlights of the set for me were the Doors-esque rhythms of The Doberman, the awesome Serge led finale of rave classic 'You've Got The Love' (leading into the awesome LSF) and the many between-song psychedelic jams.
Bring on the new album 'West Rider Pauper Lunatic Asylum' - and with a title like that what can wrong for these lads.
