"The gig itself was patchy, when W.A.S. were good they were great but at times they seemed a little out of their depth on such a big stage. The sound in the Academy was pretty poor by all accounts and a karaoke version of Boyz II Men's 'End of the Road' was pretty unacceptable as an encore in my book. I don't begrudge W.A.S. for covering a classic(?) pop song it's just.. well you should encore with one of your own songs like 'The Great Escape' for example (on which Chris from the Editors added a 'bit of guitar')."
