    "Mariee Sioux and Brightblack Morning Light were both good, but I left feeling like the show had unrealized potential. Live, it feels like Mariee could really open up and blow everyone away, but she stayed fairly low key through her set.

    Brightblack Morning Light opened well, but their set drifted, rather than continuing to build. (And yes, I'm aware of the irony in complaining about BBML "drifting," but they have the potential to drift in a way that accumulates rather than meandering.)

    Zomes must have played an extremely short set: we spent about forty minutes on the roof deck after Mariee Sioux finished, and by the time we got back downstairs BBML was coming on. Missed Zomes completely."
