went in not knowing much of any of the bands playing. Really enjoyed Hatcham Social and was very impressed with The Pains of Being Pure At Heart, who were a lot louder and upbeat than I had been lead to believe. Really looking forward to seeing either band again. Didn't see enough of Veronica Falls to form a proper opinion so will leave that decision for if and when I do.
Really liked The Garage, first time I have been back since its long over due re opening and loved it, cannot wait to go back.

A gig with incest, sweat that smells of roses and an 80's vibe, the good kind. Also a small chat with the beautiful Peggy and Christoph, who told me that their new stuff is more epic and the sound is bigger, and that they like The Pastels, Nirvana and early MBV.

Enjoyable performance. The band were clearly enjoying themselves, the audience enjoyed it and they played a nice mix of songs which really got everyone going. Very fast paced, especially at the start, barely stopped for a breather.

    Well worth seeing!

The two support acts were also good, I hadn't heard Veronica Falls before and seems to be a band worth looking into.

Aside from my grievances with the venue (see http://www.songkick.com/venues/9314-garage) which was a bit dire, a great gig.

Shoe-gazy geeky indie pop as it should be.

Once more, removed Vivian Girls from line-up.
