Celebrate the man, the music, the words. Leonard Cohen will receive the Ninth Glenn Gould Prize and announce the City of Toronto Glenn Gould Protégé Prize winner. A stellar line-up of musical stars and honorary speakers will salute Leonard Cohen’s lifetime achievements in music and poetry. Host Colm Feore. Featuring Basia Bulat, Adam Cohen, Cowboy Junkies, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, James McMurtry, Gordon Pinsent with Travis Good & Greg Keelor (Blue Rodeo), John Prine, and Serena Ryder. Guest speakers and readers including The Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson. The Ninth Glenn Gould Prize events are presented by Power Corporation of Canada.
Leonard Cohen will appear to accept his Prize but will not perform.
