Last show of the tour and Neil really gave it the lot. Support bill was a bit disappointing. Best of the rest for me was Priscilla Ahn. Appeal of Fleet Foxes, Ben Harper, Seasick Steve remains a mystery.

I still can't believe that Paul MacCartney came out and sang the encore with Neil Young. I'm still buzzing from it.

Ha, that was the only bad thing about it for me - unnecessary McCartney. For something obviously pre-arranged it really felt like he outstayed his welcome on stage. I think I would have preferred yet other chorus of Rocking in the Free World.

Although I totally dig what you are saying, I still think it was a cool moment and one of many reasons I freaking love going to gigs... for the moments that can never happen when I'm listening to the music at home (like unexpected duets, additional guitarists, strange covers, etc etc). It wasn't so much that it was McCartney, it was getting to be present for a cool moment that will probably never happen again. Then again, I also get jazzed when the unknown bassist from some dipshit opening band plays with the headliner. I'm easily impressed like that.
