For over 15 years, The Godiva Festival, held in Coventry’s War Memorial Park has maintained its place as one of the biggest and best FREE, TICKETLESS family festivals in the country. The headline acts have been announced, and the line-ups across the whole of the three days promise to keep the massed crowds entertained.
Our Friday headline act are the legendary Echo & The Bunnymen, back by popular demand after missing out on playing at the festival last year. Earlier performances on the main stage come from local artists Dark Actors, Pint Shot Riot and former Sidney Stringer student and now international star Ghostpoet.
On Saturday, British rock band Maxïmo Park headline the main stage, with support from the likes of Reverend and The Makers and Mallory Knox, before Godiva 2013 winds down on Sunday evening with performances from the Loveable Rogues and former X Factor star Amelia Lily.
Further performances across the three days come from Urban artists Devlin, Sway and Charlie Brown, while local artists figure high once again as we welcome Coventry legend Neville Staple with his band and there is also a chance to see Coventry boy Charlie Healy with his fellow band members The Risk.
