The Popped! Music Festival is the only outdoor festival of its kind in Philadelphia. POPPED! is uniquely Philadelphia, in that it celebrates Philadelphia’s rich musical history and exploding music scene. In addition to bringing the festival experience to the city, POPPED! also aims at bringing awareness to Philadelphia’s green efforts through encouraging recycling programs, local fair, partnerships with local businesses, and the use of public transportation and energy saving.
In 2011 the POPPED! Music Festival will expand to a 2 day outdoor festival in FDR Park with 3 stages of live music, a DJ tent, a comedy tent, and a unique food bazaar curated by noted Philadelphia foodies featuring local and sustainable food options from the area's restaurants, food trucks, and markets.
