Regeneration Tour features pioneers of 1980’s synth pop and electronica, Erasure's Andy Bell, Howard Jones and A Flock of Seagulls.
Andy Bell is best known for his work with Erasure as well as countless solo releases. His newest release, Non-Stop reflects Andy’s infatuation with classic 1980′s dance-pop and post-punk icons like Ladytron, M and Claudia Bruken. Most of the album consists of celebratory, life-affirming lyrics.
It was in 1983 that Howard Jones first burst upon the contemporary music scene and brought his very English song-writing and pioneering synthesizers to an unsuspecting world. His songs “Things Can only Get Better”, “Everlasting Love” and the quintessential “No One is To Blame” reached No.1 in the US.
A Flock of Seagulls are an English New Wave band originally formed in Liverpool by brothers Michael "Mike" Score (keyboards, vocals) and Alister "Ali" James Score (drums), with Francis Lee (Frank) Maudsley (bass), and Paul Reynolds (guitar). The group had a string of international hit singles including "I Ran (So Far Away)", "Space Age Love Song," "Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You)" and "The More You Live, the More You Love", and became notable in the 1980s for their video for the song "I Ran (So Far Away)".
