About me:
I can best be described as a 46 year old socialist, vegan and mother of three grown-up children (Nerida, Cai and Jamil). I have a passion for music, cinema, literature, theatre,art, travelling and good (vegan) food. I am married to Dave and live in Frome now, having lived in Bristol for 45 years. I spent many years as an English teacher but had to give that up after a disabling back injury. I can get around ok but have chronic back pain and am dosed up on painkillers all the time. Sadly this also means I can't go to all the gigs I used to, as I can't stand for long, but I do quite well at seated venues so can't complain too much! I have always strongly believed in fighting all forms of bigotry, racism, prejudice and homophobia and do all I can to expose bigotry wherever it rears its head. I am never afraid to speak my mind on these issue, even when people don't like to hear the truth.. I've actually been to hundreds more gigs than are listed here but after over thirty years of gig going it's hard to remember the dates etc!! Finally, please do not 'follow me' unless I know you, that's all a bit too creepy for me and a little bit like having a stalker.
