The Great American Music Hall is a grand live music venue located on O'farrel Street in the Tenderloin. The 5,000-square-foot concert hall is well loved for its beautiful interior, featuring frescoes and ornate balconies and columns. The venue today boasts an impressive sound sytem and lighting rig. There are two bars and food is available.

The hall was designed by French architect Chris Buckley and established in 1907. The build took place following the devastating 1906 San Francisco earthquake, which cost the city millions of dollars and thousands of lives. The club was original…
