The O2 Academy Sheffield is a music venue in the heart of Sheffield, open since 2008. It is one of a chain of O2 Academies across the UK. The Academy was previously a nightclub, and recently underwent a £3m refurbishment. There is a 2,350 person capacity and the venue hosts regular club nights and events.

    Like many venues, The Roxy atmosphere varies depending on who's playing and who's watching. Sound system can be good. Bar service poor. Ticket booth bloke needs to cheer up.
