The Borderline is a small underground club just off Manette Street in Soho, a short walk from Tottenham Court Road Underground station. There is a bar and seating down the side of the live music area, which plays host to an eclectic mix of artists. There are frequently club nights that run straight after gigs.

    intimate but spacious with good sound and plenty of character, one of the best! also really cool checking out their posters of who has performed there over the last two decades, wish I'd seen Jeff Buckley here!

      Yeah I agree, it's really cool walking down the stairs through all those boards showing the gigs they've hosted, really makes you aware of what a legendary venue it is.

    Good sound, good bands, good atmosphere. Brings a little Nashville-American-South nostalgia to me, but is located smack-dab in the middle of Soho - what more could I ask for! As an artist it is also a delight to play here.

    I like this venue alot. It gets a bit hot and stuffy when the place is packed out, but it's a great place to see bands. My only complaint, as a photographer, is the lighting has potential to be good but more often than not they use the dim, annoying blue/red combo. The sound is usually decent and shows tend to run on time too.
