Cargo is a small music, 500 capacity, venue and restaurant located on Rivington Street, Shoreditch. The box office is located in the main enterance area. As you walk further into the room there is lots of seating available as well as an outdoor space. The room in which live music takes place is right at the back of the room, opposite the entrance. The closest tube station is Old Street, with Liverpool Street also nearby.

    If the air conditioning was better and the bands started on time, I'd have no hesistation giving this venue 5 stars. Swanky bar, intimate gig room, quality garden...it does tend to attract the more twatty, more-scene-than-thou kind of audience though.

    Of the two venues I've seen Boris at, Cargo handled the sound a lot better, so points for that. I like it, it's got good furnishings, staff are cool and the stage isn't too high or miles away.

    Of all the times I've been there, Cargo has never started acts off on time. Handily, outside the venue area there is the restaurant/bar area where you can sit, it's pretty comfortable... they're those type of sofas that engulf you. Nice.

    I love this place... always great line up .You can easily spent all your evenings/nights there. The sound is great, the staff is really amazing and lovely.
