Legendary Manchester venue where suffragette Annie Kenney heckled politicians; the home of the Halle Orchestra for many years and scene of many classic gigs, not least Bob Dylan in 1966 where someone shouted "Judas" at him. Now only the facade remains as the front of a hotel. Someone out there needs to write a full history of the place.
