Red Rocks Amphitheater is a 9,450 capacity outdoor music space lodged in the rocks of Colorado. The Amphitheater is located in Red Rocks Park. The park is maintained and owned by the city of Denver.

Local entrepreneur John Brisben Walker had dreamed of hosting concerts to the setting of the beautiful Red Rocks of Colorado, and through 1906 to 1910 he hosted small scale outdoor events. In 1927 the Red Rocks were purchased from Walker by the City Of Denver.
