The Fillmore is a 1,200 capacity music venue located on the boundary between Western Addition and Pacific Heights. It features a beautifully ornate interior, crystal chandeliers and sweeping balconies. The venue is famous worldwide for the unique concert posters that decorate the walls.

The Fillmore has lived through various incarnations, operating as a dance hall and roller rink in the 1930s and 40s. In the 1950s a local entrepreneur began booking shows, and the venue played host to acts such as James Brown and Tina Turner.

    I give it 3 because it is nice looking inside but the location is kind of sketch and the staff (aside from the people actually dispersing tickets) fucking sucks. They trip on power, such douche bags. But there have been great shows there and I'm sure more to come. OH there was one guy that was cool. Actually, most of the douche bags were the big black guys, I guess they are bouncers? And I guess they think because they are huge that they can act any way they choose? Not so. They're annoying. And that sucks.
