The Hollywood Bowl is an open air music theatre in Hollywood, California, with a seated capacity of 17,376. The bowl has a distinctive arched shell covering the stage area. Behind the stage are the Hollywood Hills and to the Northeast is the Hollywood sign. The Bowl hosts hundreds of musical events each year and is home to the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra during the summer months.
