Slingshot Dakota

Great sound. Punk, emo and rock with a lot of subtleties. I’d say Lady Gaga meets Taylor Swift with The White Stripes at CBBG and Bad Brains. Vocals that sit on top of a punk sound deliciously sent through deep keys waves and booming drums. I’ve never worn earplugs for keys and drums before in my life and I’m throughly satisfied. Sometimes the road is long and you know you should be seeing an act like this in not as intimate an atmosphere but I got lucky.

Wow! Slingshot Dakota was all I thought they would be and more. Although there are only two members in the band I definitely didn't feel short changed where performance or sound are concerned. They were fun, personable, and rocked out. They are wild and talented! Had a great time and would for sure see again.
