Radney Foster

One of the best concerts I didn't know much about until I went! Radney read passages from his new book(!) from the stage as preludes to several songs--made me want to read the book and buy the CD--and his band was solid and stellar as he meandered skillfully through songs brand new and old and popular. He is mainly known as the songwriter who wrote all those big hits for superstars like Keith Urban, but he is West Texas purebred and has a sound and voice all his own. The Kessler Theater is an intimate gem oozing charm with resonant acoustics and quirky period furniture not to mention an excellent bar selection.
