As Tall As Lions

I really enjoy going out to find new bands, there’s just something about stumbling across new music when is accompanies an experience. The first time that I experienced Long Island band, As Tall As Lions was such an experience! The band were doing an album launch of “You Can’t Take It with You”, the huge album that was released in 2009 under Triple Crown Records, a label who they have had a very good working relationship with. Walking in, the band, were animated sporting riffs that I knew were going to be stuck in my head for days and singing lyrics I wanted to read. It was one of those gigs that I just wanted to go and see over and over. It was interesting to find that they had released EP’s between their full-length albums. They are very clear about which song is which making research nice and easy. Very good band, very good live.
