Voxtrot

Voxtrot is a great little indie pop band that definitely does not get the recognition they deserve, but that just means us fans can enjoy them even more.
They have performed in many surprisingly intimate venues, like record stores and other places. Of course they have also done some great stage shows, but they always seem to do a great job of giving their all in each performance. It is great to see a band that can remember all of their shows and do their best to please the crowd, rather than going through the motions to try and finish a tour before burning out.
As for the music itself, there is definitely a great vibe that the live performance delivers in a way that no recording can accomplish. You can see the band feeding off of each other and really enjoying their work, they seem to get along really well and that really helps bring out the best in their music. Their shows have a bit of lighting and they definitely move around a lot to make it exciting, but they refrain from getting too gimmicky with special effects.
Overall it is a fun experience and one that feels really personal, really bringing out the best that indie pop can hope to deliver.
