As always, Kassav delivered an amazing, joyful and entertaining show. Watching them on stage with their energy, enthusiasm and clear fun attitude it's easy to see why they've been doing this for over 30 years! It is because they not only have a passion for what they do but they bring a positive spirit to themselves and their audiences that brings joy to life.
I loved that they stayed on stage pretty much for two hours despite a late start, the breaks were minimal, they showcased some new songs and they brought back their greatest oldies seamlessly. My one complaint would be that they played 'zouk la se del medikaman' too late in the show and it is bar none my favorite song by them. Another complaint but likely it was the organizers more than the band was the lack of availability of their CDs and other materials for sale and autograph by the band at the end of the show. I would've still bought CDs to take home signed!
Overall the show was awesome! The venue needs to improve their air conditioning and air circulation.
