Randy Bachman is currently touring across 1 country and has 1 upcoming concert.
The final concert of the tour will be at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon.
It was a great show! The top highlight as usual was "Takin Care Of Business", and the great crowd participation while performing that song. His story telling along with his great guitar playing highlighted by his guitar solo with a drumstick. I've seen him perform live 5 times. Four times with BTO. I've followed him ever since he was with The Guess Who. The first BTO concert I went to was at Winterland, in San Francisco. They had just came out with their 2nd album, which featured "Taking Care Of Business". Randy Bachman is one of best songwriters and guitar players around. See him if you like any of his songs with The Guess Who and Bachman Turner Overdrive. His son Tal Bachman is playing in his band on this tour and performed his hit song "She's So High".
By far one of the most talented songwriter/guitarist of our generation.. once you see Randy in concert live, you appreciate his artistic abilities more. Randy and Paul Mccartney are two of my favs. You will not be dissapointed!!! Im going Emerald Queen again Sat 5/20/17

I had the pleasure of seeing Randy Bachman's Vinyl Tap show at Fallsview Casino. The Vinyl Tap show is one that combines Randy's story telling (he is superb) with much of his music over the years. We were treated to many interesting and humorous stories beginning with Randy and his time with Chad Allan and the Expressions to how the band became known as The Guess Who (the band had nothing at all to do with this), to his many experiences with Burton Cummings, and finally to his time with Bachman-Turner Overdrive. Learning the history behind all of these great songs and how they came to be written was as entertaining as the songs themselves.
As for the music we were treated to the following setlist:
Roll On Down the Highway
Shakin' All Over
These Eyes
Laughing
No Sugar Tonight
Undun
No Time
American Woman / Whole Lotta Love
Let It Ride
Lookin' Out for #1
You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet
Encore:
White Collar Worker including a snippet of Oye como va
Takin' Care of Business
Randy did vocals on many tunes, but his support band was superb and various members also sang lead on songs which would have featured Burton Cummings. I am a huge Burton fan and while these guys were definitely not Burton, they did a mighty fine job. It was an extremely enjoyable show and I highly recommend if you ever get the chance!
