Ash Grunwald

Hailing from Australia, blues artist Ash Groenewald is known for his live shows and festival performances throughout the Australasian continent.

He is an incredibly lively performer that interacts with his audience throughout his entire performance, making them want to sing along with him, clap along with his music, and makes the audience want to dance along with his unique flair and sound.

The experience of this live performance makes me feel incredibly calm yet energized at the same time, and it made me feel really focused and engaged on the band as Ash commanded attention from his audience in a way that I have not seen in a long time from performances.

Groenewald performed in a very simplistic type of setting, as the backdrop of the setting was at a festival and not necessarily conducive to large scale props and settings. The stage was all white, and the audience was barricaded quite far away from the band as they were performing, yet somehow this particular artist managed to interact with them as though they were up close and personal with him and his band members alike. The crowd reacted very positively towards the artist throughout the song he was performing, cheering, whistling and clapping loudly throughout the entire performance- and their energy made me feel as though I ought to do the same, and wanted to right along with them! I would see Ash perform in a live setting of any kind because of his phenomenal stage presence and energy that makes him captivating to watch, no matter the cost!
