Adrian Belew and the Power Trio is one of the most expressively touching music witnessed live.
Peter Green and Adrian Belew are similar in many ways for me. However Adrian sings dazzling the crowd. But lets not forget, shifts through sounds with his back-up band!
He starts on his own with just him and his jazz electric guitar. Then suddenly these battling courageous warriors turn up on deafening drums and ear-blasting basses and the trio descend into a war of sound. Despite being 64 this warrior has a lot of fight in him. It's like a up-tempo, vicious and snarling King Crimson.
So at first Adrian will touch your heart so sweetly and affectionately but then he rips it out and churns it in his blender of rock smoothie.
He is a versatile player with a catalogue of sounds and inspirations in his music. Him and his power trio are a force to be reckoned with.
I have seen Adrian in concert in various bands, trios and solo gigs around 40 times now. I wrote all about this here:

In just a couple of days I will be attending what might be the very last King Crimson concert to ever be played in the US, in DC on September 11th.
I have seen King Crimson 17 times with King Crimson and the DC show with be my fourth time to see KC without Adrian.
The show was fantastic if he came again next week I'd go again not only is the guy ridiculously talented but he surrounds himself with people of the same caliber and you can tell by watching him he thoroughly enjoys being up there I don't know if he makes a habit of it but we were buying stuff at his swag Booth after the show and he stopped by and gave us some autographs and a couple pictures super down-to-earth and nice guy .fan for life !
Excellent show, a consummate performer. Adrian played new material off his newest album as well as entertaining the audience with King Crimson songs he had written. His new band thrilled the crowd of “die hard Adrian Belew fans” as well as a younger audience.
