Las Cafeteras

I've seen them a number of times over the past three years at the Kate Wolf Festival. When I first saw a performance, it took maybe two minutes to become a fan. I'll never forget the lead up to one song which sounded familiar, but when they began with, "This land is your land, this land is my land...) and proceeded with a bilingual version of Woody Guthrie's greatest song, I let out a gasp when I instantly realized it was an anthem for diversity. For those who really do want to make America great again, this band is on the front lines of that battle, and they do it with optimism, intelligence, and extremely high energy. There's no band in the world I'd rather see than Las Cafeteras!

i LOVE THIS BAND! aND i AM MUSIC CRITIC SO IT TAKES A LOT TO IMPRESS ME. tHEY INCORPORATE THE TRADITIONAL MUSIC OF vERACRUZ WITH RAP AND HIP HOP AND ADANZA AND POLITICCS AND JUST PLAIN FUN. a LIVE PERFORMANCE BY THIS WONDERFUL COLLECTIVE WILL KEEP YOU VIBRATING FOR WEEKS.

I don't have words to describe how awesome they are. They have great energy, their songs are inspirational and so fun!!! You can't help but to be happy, dance, and sing when they perform! I can't wait to see them again.

Fabulous. El ambiente estaba bien prendido! I honestly didn't know them but yesterday right there at the concert I bought two albums -iTunes. I will definitely follow them and go to other shows of them! Love them.

Wonderful to see such a great mix of people in the crowd.

They were fantastic musicians and performers who were able to hold the attention of everyone in the room.

Great show, both Making Movies and Las Cafeteras. I enjoyed hearing their new music as well as the old. Great collaboration. I love their fight and positive energy. Hope they can comeback!
