Combining genres of music is something that I think is incredibly clever at the best of times, but combining rock, hip-hop, rap, and country simply blows my mind! You may think it’s impossible, it’s difficult to imagine, but Rehab absolutely nail it with every track they release.
This may sound silly, but something that stood out to me that Rehab have got down is their impeccable diction. Many rap artists can be unclear, especially when performing live, and I was able to listen to and make out every lyric, massively adding to the enjoyment of the performance. Their energy throughout is constant and doesn’t waver even for a second, keeping the audience constantly engaged and excited for what’s next.
The tracks were a mixture of old and new, but focusing more heavily on the newer material. Although this was great for consistent fans like myself, those who had only followed Rehab in their younger days seemed to be a little disappointed with the lack of older hits. However, the new music is easy to engage with and the hooks and riffs are very catchy. I’d definitely advise that you catch Rehab before you miss your chance.
Still waiting for our show in Denver, Colorado at Herman's Hideaway! We bought two reserved seating tables for four, a total of 8 tickets. The show got rescheduled once due to Co Vid, then we had new tickets from Eventbrite saying the new date would be announced in August. It is September and we are still waiting to hear something!!!!! Very disappointed fans
I have seen these guys twice in concert when I lived in Columbus, Ga. I even got to hang out with them when they came in 2006. They are ALWAYS incredible, entertaining, amazingly good and full of energy. IF you ever get a chance, this is a band that you don't want to miss!
