What an absolutely amazing show! The Zippers were on fire from the first note to the last. Super high-energy and fun, warm and engaging and hilariously silly at times. They played a great selection of their hits and ended the night with a five song encore which turned into a jazz funeral through the crowd. They purposely ended at the exit and shook hands and thanked everyone or coming out. A class act for sure. Our entire party was blown away by the level of musicianship and showmanship on display by the entire group. They are (were) one of my bucket list bands, and I have wanted to see them for decades. Despite that buildup, they did not disappoint in the least. And opener Sierra Ferrell was also fantastic. Could not have been a better night!
What an awesome show!!
They really were entertaining!-- no pyrotechnics or fancy light show, just the band and their instruments (costumes help a lot, too).
A great mix of the songs we were there to hear, nostalgia was the draw for much of the audience, and songs from their new album...soon to be old favorites!
I can't say enough about it!
Beachland should really make their food part of the website, we ate down the street at Callaloo Cafe and had really good jerk chicken with heaps of authentic rice and greens- but had we known Beachland had a legitimate menu, we would have eaten there!
Overall, a great Cleveland experience in the Waterloo Art District!!
What a fantastically fun high energy show! Wished they came on a bit earlier but their stage presence is outrageous and very entertaining! Dr. Sick, Jimbo and Tamara were really killing it up there!! I felt like "Hell" snuck up on me and was over in a flash but I dug the voodoo feel they brought to the stage, great lineup of songs!! Would love more solo time with all the fun and interesting instruments they had. Also loved all the crowd interaction, even the bad jokes!!! hope to see them again soon!
Incredible show, Jimbo has assembled an amazing new band. The Hot album was featured and it was better than ever! Great jazz parade at the end! Only problem is The Birchmere is not equipped for dancing.
