Cyhi Da Prynce

Cydel Young, who is also known as his stage name CyHi Da Prynce, has been on the hip-hop scene for almost a decade now. He is signed to a label called Konvict, where the C.E.O is none other than Akon. He also signed to GOOD Music, which is Kanye West’s Label and Def Jam Recordings. He talents became known when he featured on Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Tonight, he performs some of his most well known material to an audience ready to party.

“Napolean” is the first song that he plays this evening. It’s quite an entrance as he walks out to the beat of this song, which sounds as though it is an homage to the 90’s hip-hop era with a sort of down tempo beat, combined with scratching on decks, and a meaty yet understate bass line. Either way, it features enough components to formulate a concoction of hip-hop that everyone in this vicinity responds to. Another highlight would have to be his song “Huey” which again, is one of his biggest releases, inducing euphoria in the house.

One of the best shows I've ever been to. Him and K.R.I.T killed it. I will definitely be attending another concert. Much Respect. 2 of the baddest in the game.
