Pond is currently touring across 3 countries and has 14 upcoming concerts.
Their next tour date is at Princess Theatre, Woolloongabba in Brisbane, after that they'll be at Terminal West in Atlanta.
See all your opportunities to see them live below!I have now seen Pond twice, and these guys hold the spot for my top two favorite live shows of all time. The melodic guitar riffs coupled with the other-worldly, elevating synth sounds leave you hoping they'll play forever.
Energy radiates out of lead singer Nick Allbrook, who spent half of the show in the audience. Although he first appears meek and unassuming, he immediately spring into action upon the first song, and -man- can that guy move! Bassist Jay Watson, who also plays as a touring member of Tame Impala, delivers many a killer bassline, the kind that makes you turn to the person next to you just to make sure you haven't somehow left the venue. The members of Pond work hard the entire gig, but you would never know because of the constant, light-hearted exchange between the audience and the band. Their music seems effortless, floating almost.
If you ever have the opportunity to see these guys live, do not pass it up. You'll thank me later.
Show was deferred until June. US Visa issues apparently.
This review has to be at least 30 words long so insert mindless blather here- blah blah blah blah blah blah.
i love how nick dance, i love those love-shaped fractals that comes out as i see the lights, all the swirling sounds, and it feels like.... love. thanks for coming to jakarta, Pond. i never thought i would be able to see you guys in real life, and all the songs are just the same like in the iTunes or spotify. x
