  • Ministry

Have been to many Ministry concerts through the years. All of them have been amazing. Meet and greet once after Al releaseed his book. They are awesome musicians and super friendly people. I always have a blast seeing them live and rarely ever miss a show. One of my favorite concerts was Revco opening for Ministry in 2002. It was hands down the loudest concert ever! My ears are ringing to this day :) After the show my boyfriend and his buddy sounded like they had extreme lisps. I was laughing my butt off in the backseat. Wasn't sure if my ears were making them sound like that or their ears were so jacked that it caused them to talk that way. It was extremely amusing to me. Uncle Al kept calling Revco 'The fluff band opening for Ministry'. Was blown away.

  • Did NOT LIKE the first GOD something and other band

Was ok with the second Chelsea something and other band

LOVED Ministry. Have seen them many times.

LOVED their hysterical and thought provoking politically charged message of the Politics of Trump Era and likens his views on Nazi Germany when Germany was Nazi. In particular, the scene where Trump is depicted as a Tyrannosaurus;a very large bipedal carnivorous dinosaur of the late Cretaceous period, with powerful jaws and small clawlike front legs, with head cocked back and mouth eide open spewing fire towards crooked Hillary who is depicted as Godzilla spewing rays. You can't help but laugh.

I bought a Ministry $40 Tee which is pricey but, is the going rate for a concert tee these days. Outside, a $15 knockoff tee can be had by the legless wheelchair bound man selling his stock. Be forewarned, you get what you pay for.

If I hadn't had to work the next day, I'd have kicked it at late bar for planet earth night.

Riviera badly needs a rehab. Just saying but, their sound system is decent considering the venue.

  • I found that trying to sing along with the newer material was a bit difficult as, I know mostly the older stuff. But, I was there to support the band, be entertained and, bang my head , and dance so, that was totally the case.

If you like their music, and enjoy head banging, totally worth the while. I’d go see them again in a heartbeat.

Al Jorgensen, is apparently not anywhere near as energetic as before but , shit, give he guy some credit! He’s 60! I WISH, my parents had his energy at this age! Haha.

It was a mighty good show. Props were cool, and visually very stimulating. But most importantly, they sounded really together. ( drummer was unreal)

If it doubt, go. Just go. Was so much fun
